Probably the finest early Australian circa 1890-1900 pendant/brooch by esteemed Australian jeweller Willis and Sons that we have had the pleasure of offering for sale.
Finely constructed from lush bright yellow 18ct gold and set with 44 beautiful white well matched natural seed/half pearls.
With a removable pearl set bale, or drop it down as a hidden bale if desired, and a brooch pin to verso making this piece very versatile.
Hallmarked beautifully with Willis and Sons iconic ‘Unicorn’ head hallmark, 15 for 15ct gold and ‘W’ again for Willis.
In remarkable condition for its age, no repairs nor replacement pearls, truly a beautiful collectors piece.
