Exquisite 15ct rose gold brooch crafted in the early 20th century in the from of a Lily of the Valley spray symbolising a ‘return to happiness’ and representing ‘purity, luck and humility’.
Featuring five natural dark pink/red Rubies in the flower heads and natural seed pearls through out the remainder of the pin.
With original C clasp and brooch fitting to the verso and Australian hallmarks which are very faint but indicate 15ct and the M.J.A guarantee mark of the ‘hanging fleece’ for 15ct.
Perfect for the astute antique Australian jewellery collector but also such a wearable and pretty pin that draws compliments when ever she is seen.

‘Hanging fleece’ Guarantee mark for 15ct
Very good antique condition. Seed pearls and rubies original. Clasp and pin original. No repairs. Slight softening to facets on one Ruby only. Highly polished which probably is why hallmarks are faint.
