Antique Australian 15ct Gold ‘Willis and Sons’ Shield Cufflinks Circa 1910-1920

Collections: Sold Archive

Crafted by one of our iconic early Australian jewellers Willis and Sons and dating to the early 1900’s.

This wonderful pair of 15ct rose gold cufflinks are quite large with fine hand engraved shields and elongated torpedo dumbbells.

With a bloomed matte finish to the 15ct gold which contrasts nicely with the subtle hint of rose gold showing through the finely engraved chasing.

The large shields measure 2cm x 1.5cm and the dumbbells 2.5cm and interestingly the shields cartouches’ have not been inscribed in their 100 years of life.

Hallmarked beautifully to the verso with Willis and Sons hallmark and in almost pristine condition, we believe this exquisite pair of cufflinks have not been worn.
Ladies.. cufflinks are not only for the men!  These beauties look amazing on the upturned cuff of a crisp white shirt, and we don’t need much of an excuse to find yet another
place to wear beautiful jewellery, right?
