Stunningly pretty antique Australian pendant by Duggin, Shappere and Co. (1896-1932).

Crafted around the first decade of the 20th century from 15ct yellow gold and modelled as an eight rayed starburst/flower and set with natural Persian Turquoise cabochons and natural half seed Pearls.

Measuring 2.7cm in diameter and with the bale a drop of 3.8cm.
Retaining its original bale also set with a seed Pearl this pretty as a picture all original Australian antique would be an asset to any serious jewellery enthusiasts collection.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition.  All Turquoise and Pearls are original with no evidence of re-gluing.   Verso of pendant has been ‘bloomed’ or fire gilded to give a matte high carat appearance as was the technique popular during this era.  Lovely early piece by one of our important early Australian makers.
