We all love a locket or three, can we ever have enough?

This early Australian double sided photo locket is both a brooch and a pendant as it has a removable natural seed Pearl set bale.

Crafted from 9ct rose gold and ‘bloomed’ to give the appearance of a higher carat yellow gold to the body of the locket with the two original circular frames in 9ct rose giving an ever so slightly two toned effect.

Set with a total of seven natural half seed Pearls six of which are set in tiny Celestial star motifs bordering the frame and one to the articulated bale.

Hallmarked with Willis and Sons iconic ‘Unicorn’ hallmark, 15ct and ‘W’ which Willis used after 1904, this particular piece would date to the Edwardian Era.

Style this piece up with you favourite photo or two or perhaps some sentimental dried flowers, the choices are many.

CONDITION

Very very good antique condition. All Pearls are original with no re-gluing. Pin and roll over clasp original. We have removed the original old photos therefore the glass lenses rattle which is fine, they are very secure but these lockets were made with the intention of photos to be inserted. Hallmarks clear and legible. Gorgeous original antique Locket.
