Charming and early piece by Willis and Sons depicting the early Form of the Coat of Arms with the ‘Advance Australia’ emblem.
Quite easy to date this one as King Edward VIII authorised the coat of arms on 7th May 1908 and King George V updated the version on 19th September 1912.
Crafted in 9ct rose gold with the central Coat of Arms featuring our emblematic Kangaroo and Emu which has been bloomed or fire gilded to give it a rich yellow gold finish. The contrast between the rose and yellow is very attractive and used often in this era.
This light and easy to wear little piece of history can be worn as a pendant or perhaps on a charm bracelet?
Collectible in their own right however this one is even more special given the Willis and Sons hallmarks to the verso.
