Substantial and heavy 9.90 grams antiqued Art Deco 9ct rose gold ring crafted in Birmingham by Kinsey Brothers & Patrick of 56 Albion Street Birmingham in 1925 and clearly hallmarked as such.
Modelled as a large signet ring with typical shield shaped face with the cursive initials of ‘JWC’ inscribed. The central shield measures a generous 1.4cm x 1.2cm to the then wide and slightly grooved shoulders to a very thick and solid half round band.
Even though this ring is hefty in construction it is weighted perfectly and is so very comfortable to wear, one of those rings that just seems to melt onto the finger.
The 9ct rose gold is that perfect antique hue, subtle and rich and this 97 year old ring is in absolutely gorgeous condition.
Shield face 1.4cm x 1.2cm
