Heavy, wide, lush and luxurious to wear this 120 year old ring is almost as good as the day she was made.
Hand crafted from bright and rich 9ct gold (more the bright colour of 18ct gold) in Chester in 1901 with full British hallmarks, this superb quality ring has exquisitely hand chased floral engraving throughout the entire circumference of the ring, with no wear or dulling suggesting this ring may not have been worn for long.. if at all.
Featuring Ivy and Daisies which are steeped in symbolism, and would traditionally have been given as a wedding ring.
Ivy has long been associated with eternity, fidelity and strong attachment, where as the Daisy is know to symbolise new beginnings, hope and innocence.
Bands of this quality do not present themselves often especially in this condition. It would truly be the perfect sustainable choice for a new/old wedding ring.
