Pretty as a picture this original Edwardian combination pendant / brooch is such a versatile piece.

Constructed from 9ct yellow gold which is that pale soft in-between rose and yellow hue that only antique gold seems to possess.

In openwork flower motif and multi claw set to the centre is a round brilliant cut Amethyst. Surrounded by natural half seed pearls, to the outer trefoil motifs also set with natural seed Pearls.

To the rear there is the original pin and C clasp and also a hidden ‘twist’ bale with a further jump ring to thread a fine chain allowing it to be worn as a pendant.
Almost definitely Australian in manufacture however there are no makers marks to identify, simply stamped 9ct.

Natural half seed Pearl
2.76cm Diameter
3.63 Grams
Very good to excellent antique condition.  All Pearls original and no re-glues.  Amethyst is bright, without chips or abrasions, and all claws very secure.  No repairs to be seen.  Original pin and C clasp.
