Antique 9ct Rose Gold Double Sided Locket Circa 1915
Sold Out 795.00
*Please note chain is not for sale and is display only*
Almost certainly Australian in manufacture and dating to the early part of the 20th century this 9ct rose gold locket is simply lovely.
Modelled as a double sided opening locket with a ‘dumbbell’ feature to the top of the locket. To the front panel is quite possibly the finest etched engraving, done by hand of course, the we have seen.
The letters are ‘A A B’ and finely detailed. The back panel is un-inscribed and features only the 9ct stamp.
Upon opening we find two compartments both with their original rims and plastic inserts, always a pleasure to find lockets of this age intact.
