Charming Art Deco double sided 9ct rose gold compass fob constructed in Birmingham 1921.
Decorative scrolling and ball embellishments to the outside frame, with compass to one side and red carnelian to the verso. Measuring a lovely 2.7cm in diameter and 3.0cm including top jump ring.
These little treasures were gifted to travellers by their loved ones as a symbol of guidance to find their way home after their travels.
Fully functional, the little red hand of the compass showing you the way home.

CONDITION
Very good antique condition. Compass floats smoothly and appears to work as a compass should. One ‘ball’ to frame has small ding. Bevelled glass is actually in good condition with very superficial marks. Carnelian has some very light scratches. Jump ring to top not original, may not be solid gold.
