DESCRIPTION (Please scroll to the bottom to view video)
Stunningly pretty antique Opal and diamond ring dating to the late Victorian - early part of the 20th century circa 1900.
Styled as a three stone Trilogy quarter hoop ring with three solid crystal Opals, with very good colour play, interspersed with two pairs of old European cut diamonds.
Exhibiting a range of fiery flashes of green, blues, yellows and some brilliant flashes of reds theses darling Opals are almost certainly from Coober Pedy Australia.
The Opals and diamonds are claw set to a scrolled carved undergallery to a then solid half round shank.
Low rise and modelled in such a way this ring will sit well with many a plain band or diamond eternity ring perhaps.
