Exquisite in its manufacture this 18ct yellow gold Pearl and Diamond pendant/brooch has been modelled as a trefoil clover or Shamrock.
The word shamrock is derived from Irish Seamróg which means ‘little clover’. Considered the unofficial national flower of Ireland for centuries, used as a symbol of Ireland since the 18th century in a similar way as to the rose is used for England, a Thistle for Scotland and a Daffodil for Wales. The three leaves of a shamrock are said to symbolise faith, hope and love.
Manufactured from 18ct throughout and set with forty two graduated half Pearls and three gorgeous natural white and bright diamonds measuring approximately 0.10pts each.
With original C Clasp and pin to the verso and a later 9ct bale which has been added professionally enabling this stunning piece to be worn also as a pendant.
Wouldn’t this superb piece of jewellery be a wonderful gift for a Pearl anniversary or perhaps a sentimental gift for a loved one harking from Ireland?
