Sale price$965.00 AUD

Laybys welcome! Contact Us today to secure your dream piece.
Every popular and romantic crescent moon brooch, modelled from 18ct gold and set with natural half pearls.

Crafted around 1900 this piece is a wonderful example of Late Victorian/Art Nouveau style when celestial jewellery was all the rage.

Representing the feminine symbol of the moon goddess symbolising change and female empowerment.

Set with graduated white very well matched half pearl, 21 in fact, the number of which may possibly represent the solstices in June and December which usually fall on the 21st of the months.

In immaculate condition, this perfect little representation of female empowerment could be quite easily converted to a pendant with the addition of two tiny links which can be slipped through the pierced gallery, then add a chain!
