Collections: Sold Archive

Heavy, wide, lush and luxurious to wear this 120 year old ring is almost as good as the day she was made.

Hand crafted from 18ct gold in Chester in 1901 with full British hallmarks, this superb quality ring has exquisitely hand chased floral engraving throughout the entire circumference of the ring.

Featuring Ivy, Daisies and Peonies steeped in symbolism, and would traditionally have been given as a wedding ring.

Symbolism

Peony symbolises romance, prosperity, good fortune, a happy marriage.
Ivy; eternity, fidelity, and strong affectionate attachment, such as wedded love and friendship.  Daisy symbolises childbirth, motherhood, and new beginnings.

Bands of this quality do not present themselves often especially in this condition.  It would truly be the perfect sustainable choice for an new/old wedding ring.
