Superb Antique Victorian 9ct (And 15ct) Tri-Colour Long Drop Tassel Earrings Circa 1880-90

These exquisite antique Victorian tri-colour gold long drop tassel earrings, circa 1880-1890, are a stunning example of Victorian craftsmanship.
Featuring shepherd hooks crafted from 14 to 15 carat gold (may be a later addition), providing a secure and comfortable fit with a U hook safety also.
Ornate surmounts, fashioned from 9 carat gold, are adorned with delicate applied rose and yellow gold floral motifs, complemented by intricate silver banding that adds an extra touch of exquisitness to each earring.
Gracefully suspended below are eight foxtail drops, terminating in tiny ball ends that enhance their luxurious tassel effect. All foxtail tassels are present, as are the ball ends and they swish and dance with every movement.
Measuring a face framing drop of 4.8 cm from the ear, these earrings are in excellent condition, preserving their original charm and fine detailing, making them a timeless addition to any serious antique jewellery connoisseurs collection.

CONDITION
Excellent antique condition. All tassels - 8 - to each earring are present and all the tiny ball ends are also present and intact with no dents. Foxtail chains tassels hang straight and and are beautifully formed, swing and sway perfectly. Ornate tri-colour surmounts are lovely, all applied rosettes and ornate bands are present, no repairs or damages. Shepherd hooks may not be original, tested as 14-15ct gold, they are straight and solid, and secure perfectly. No issues to note.
