This impressive statement ring is centred with a large 16mm x 10mm (approx 10ct) luminous Ceylon type Moonstone, high domed, and showing an interesting diagonal Schiller effect.
Multi-claw set the Moonstone is then surrounded by sixteen round faceted blue Sapphires of the most beautiful medium, almost cornflower blue Sapphires.
An open work basket gallery supports the Moonstone and Sapphires perfectly and simple tapered upswept shoulders flow seamlessly to a substantial flat band.

Excellent preowned condition. Moonstone has no abrasions or dulling, very lustrous and smooth, all claws original and very secure. Sapphires are securely set and have no chips or issues. Shank is thick with no thinning.
