A strikingly impressive contemporary 9ct yellow gold ring featuring a large and deeply saturated Lapis Lazuli - measuring 1.8cm by 1.4cm - with a hue we feel confident to describe as a deep Ultramarine with an intense saturation and typical tiny sparkles of Pyrite.
The deep royal blue of the Lapis Lazuli is beautifully complemented by thirty six round brilliant-cut natural Ceylon type Sapphires, each approximately 1.2mm, bead claw set a diamond-shaped motif set atop the Lapis.
A substantial undergallery holds the Lapis to perfection, and features ornate open work which is also impressive and befits the quality work seen throughout this ring. Flat bifurcated shoulders flow seamlessly to a tapered flat shank.
Weighing a very substantial 8.02 grams, this heavy, well made ring is outstanding on the finger, in excellent condition and ready to be seen and admired once again!

CONDITION
Excellent preowned condition. This ring presents as almost new. The Lapis is stunning, a rich deep ultramarine hue with evenly speckled tiny flecks of iron pyrite. The Sapphires are all lovely, no chips or abrasions and all very securely set with well formed and solid bead type claws. A substantial well made ring with no thinning to shank. Stunning!
