Antique Victorian Four Sided Obelisk Piqué Drop Earrings - Circa 1880-90
An exciting chance to own a pair of long drop antique Victorian Piqué earrings dating to the late Victorian era circa 1880’s - this fine pair of earrings does have a minor condition issue, please read the condition report below.
Crafted in traditional piqué style, meticulously handcrafted with lovely gold and silver detailing, and in the popular ‘obelisk’ shape measuring a stunning 5.5cm drop from the ear lobe.
Detailed to all four sides, and top triangular sections also, with an array of Stars, large daisy motifs and flowing gold and silver foliage and tendrils which shimmer and shine with every movement.
Topped with sterling silver fancy shepherds hook fittings ( a later vintage addition ), which match the fine silver detailing on the earrings perfectly!
With prices fetching in the 2k-3k for ‘perfect’ examples, these splendid earrings - with their minor condition issue - are the perfect chance to own a much coveted and desirable Victorian piqué earrings at a never to be repeated price point!

CONDITION
Good antique condition. One earring has lost a round floral circle, this is at the rear and can’t be seen from the front, price reflects this issue. Some tiny silver ‘tendrils’ missing, hard to notice. Silver shepherd hooks are a later addition, firm strong and straight. A lovely pair of earrings which look lovely on the ear.
