Step back a century or so into the world of the Victorians with these exquisite Antique Victorian Egyptian Revival 9ct Rose Gold Scarab Beetle Earrings, a true reflection of 19th-century artistry, craftsmanship and  worldly fascination.

Crafted in warm 9ct rose gold, each earring features a meticulously detailed genuine Scarab beetle, its intricate design fully revealed through an open-back setting that showcases the beetle’s fascinating texture and form.

Each scarab is set securely in a stunning saw-tooth claw setting, and each is suspended from their original long backed shepherds hook fittings which feature a tiny ‘knot’ as an added touch of unique Victorian charm.

The Victorians bore a fascination with the ancient cultures, particularly the Egyptians, and the desire for jewellery reflecting these cultures dominated demand during the mid to late 1800’s.

These fascinating, collectible and stunningly beautiful earrings look superb on the ear and are an asset to any serious jewellery collectors wardrobe.
