Antique Victorian Bohemian Garnet Target Brooch Circa 1890
Styled as not only a target brooch but a target brooch with a drop also!
The main body is large and centred with a large 1.3cm or approximately 14ct, which is the most glorious pomegranate red!
Surrounding this central gem are no less than four tiered halos of Bohemian rose cut garnets which, given their rose cuts, exhibit all the shades of reds one could imagine!
Suspending below is an equally exquisite pearl shaped drop with a central pear cabochon Garnet measuring approximately 1.6cm x 1.0cm or 5.5ct.
A single halo of Bohemian rose cuts encircle this lovely gem.
A large piece of jewellery, commanding, striking to the eye, this piece measures 5.2cm from top to bottom.
In exceptional condition for her age this beauty turned heads when ever she is seen!

Very very good antique condition. All Garnets are original, no re-glues, no chips. Cabochon Garnets show natural inclusions. Pin and C clasp work perfectly. Patina here and there. Lovely piece.
