Antique Victorian 9ct Bi-Colour Albertina Fob Chain And Heart Circa 1880-90s
A gorgeous Victorian ladies bi-colour chatelaine Albertina Fob chain dating to the late 1800’s circa 1880-90.
Crafted from 9ct gold and comprised of triple foxtail chains in yellow gold, with an ornate bi-color ’slider’ ( does not slide, not all do ), to the centre, and to either end a pretty rose gold terminal.
Suspended from the chatelaine is a stunning heart shaped fob, the body in rose gold with the centre a textured yellow gold and a garland wreath in bi-colour - yellow and rose - which is simply exquisite, the verso is plain with simple scrolled accents to the top of the heart.
An antique/vintage dog clip is we believe a slightly later addition and is testing as quality gold filled or rolled gold, it is in excellent condition, matches perfectly, no losses or fading to ‘gold’, therefore we have decided to leave it as is.
Quite versatile these pieces are stunning simply worn on a chain, or.. acquire another chatelaine fob and join together to from a bracelet.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. No repairs. Fox chains are lovely, no defects or damage. Minor marks to gold only, do dents or dings. Clasp is rolled gold or gold filled, likely a later addition however vintage or antique, works perfectly, no gold loss and matches beautifully.
