Antique Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Pearl And Enamel Ring - Birmingham 1879
Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
An exquisite and timeless ring beautifully hallmarked for manufacture and assay in Birmingham in 1879.
Crafted from 18ct yellow gold, its sleek band is adorned with lustrous black enamel, providing a striking contrast against the warm, rich tone of the gold. Six delicate, well matched and uniformly sized pearls are meticulously set into the design.
Low rise on the finger in half-hoop style, the black enamel extends to the shoulders where we find a beautiful fleur-di-lis motif in gold to each.
With complete crisp and clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1879, this ring appears to have spent very little time on the finger and is in remarkable condition.
A testament to Victorian craftsmanship, elegant and refined, stunningly manufactured, this ring is fine when worn alone however it also lends itself to stacking perfectly with other rings for a unique and layered look.
