Antique Late Victorian Early Edwardian Bohemian Garnet Floret Necklace Circa 1900
The necklace features three exquisite floret clusters, the largest central cluster three dimensional, and each meticulously crafted with an array of rose-cut garnet gemstones. These clusters resemble delicate flowers, with the fiery deep red garnets adding a touch of romantic allure.
In addition to the floret clusters, there are three grape-like clusters suspended below in a manner that resembles luscious grapes hanging from a vine, and the necklace itself consists of twenty four sections with four garnets to each.
Crafted from Tombac or ‘garnet gold’ as it is sometimes called with a 9ct bolt clasp (probably later) and trace chain giving this one a pleasing length of 46.5cm.
The necklace is a true statement piece, perfect for adding a touch of bohemian flair to any outfit. Its rich red hues and intricate craftsmanship make it a treasure to be cherished for generations to come.
