Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold Double Sided ‘Heart’ Locket - Chester 1908
A large and strikingly beautiful ‘Heart’ locket fully hallmarked for assay in Chester and date letter stamped for manufacture in 1908.
Crafted in 9ct rose gold and designed as an opening locket with a screw-top winding bale which allows the two heavy and thick solid ‘panes’ to be removed and a photo inserted if desired. Beautiful as is, it can be worn without and look just as spectacular as a clear Heart!
Topped in almost ‘crowned heart’ style in lovely open ribbon worked gold, and its original 9ct gold jump ring ready for your favourite chain or perhaps a pretty velvet ribbon.
Measuring a very large 4cm drop with bale, and a wide 2.6cm, this piece makes quite the statement when worn and receives gasps and compliments when seen.
