Antique Edwardian 18ct Yellow Gold And Diamond Snake Ring - Birmingham 1910
Stepped in symbolism dating back as early to the Ancient Greek civilisation, the Snakes ability to shed its skin has always been admired as a symbol of transformation, immortality, and healing.
This particular antique ring is crafted in 18ct yellow gold and handcrafted in Birmingham in 1910 and fully hallmarked as such.
Modelled as a wide triple coiled Snake whose head then rests upon his coiled body and set with five lovely old Mine cut diamond in graduated fashion.
Wide throughout at 1.0cm at the widest point and 7.0mm there after, not tapering to the rear shank at all.
In our opinion a Snake rings face is all important… and this little guy has the sweetest face!
Superbly comfortable on the finger this heavy, beautifully made antique ring will not disappoint.
