Firstly she is antique Australian and hallmarked beautifully as such for manufacture by H Simonsen Pty Ltd Circa 1915.
Not only does she bear this accolade but she’s also a Daisy cluster centred with a Moonstone and surrounded by tiny natural Turquoise, and if that wasn’t enough.. she’s crafted from highly sought after lush 15ct rose gold!
Low rise to the finger, perfectly dainty and pretty, this highly coveted antique Australian ring is a dream to wear!
HISTORY OF JOHNSON AND SIMONSEN (1895 - 1914)
& H SIMONSEN PTY LTD (1914 - 1927)
The firm of Johnson and Simonsen was established at Swanson Street, Melbourne in 1895 and subsequently beech ‘H. Simonsen Pty Ltd from 1914 to 1927.
They moved to Bourke Street and finally to 25 Little Collins Street.
Jewellers, gem merchants and importers Simonsen became one of the major jewellery manufacturers in Melbourne. The standard mark of Johnson and Simonsen, then H. Simonsen Pty Ltd was a “Square and Compass” used in conjunction with the guarantee marks of he M.J.A.of Victoria.

Very very good antique condition. All Turquoise original, no re-glues. Two show a green hue due to age, insignificant and charmingly original. Moonstone shows no chips or damage, under loupe magnification just the tiniest ‘dulling’ only. Shank is solid and thick with no thinning. Hallmarks clear.
