Well.. we believe we have found the sweetest little piece by one of our renowned early Australian jewellery Willis and Sons!
Crafted from 9ct rose gold and ‘bloomed’ to give a lovely matte rosy-yellow gold finish and featuring a beautifully detailed Kookaburra to the centre.
These Australiana novelty pieces were made to commemorate Federation in 1901 and were popular for many years preceding.
In virtually pristine condition for his 120 plus years and crisply hallmarked with Willis’ hallmarks to the underside of the pin fitting.
Perfect for the Australian jewellery collector or anyone who adores Kookaburras as much as we do!

CONDITION
Very good to excellent condition. No dents or dings. Matt ‘bloomed’ finish is in excellent order with no loss. Pin is in gold fill or similar for strength but is the original. Hallmarks very nice and very clear. Darling piece of early Australian history.
