Antique Australian 15ct Rose Gold Solid Opal Half-Hoop Ring Cira 1905
Dating to the early 20th century circa 1905 this fine example of Australian history is designed as a graduating five Opal ring in ever popular half-hoop style.
Featuring five slightly graduated oval solid Opals exhibiting a myriad of greens, mauves, yellows and pinks, to a base body colour of a grey/blue.
Hand crafted from rich lush 15ct yellow gold, hallmarked with indistinct but definitely Australian stamps, sadly we cannot attribute definitively.
The ring has a noticeable spread of 1.8cm x 6.0mm across the finger, with wide grooved shoulders to a lovely thick and solid shank.
This is a true collectors piece given its nod to early Australian history, and deserves to become an heirloom piece, however it is as wearable today as it was over 100 years ago, and truly deserves to be seen.
