Antique Arts And Crafts Era Sterling Silver And Moonstone Floral Necklace Circa 1920
A mesmerisingly pretty necklace dating to the Arts and Crafts era circa 1920.
Crafted by hand from Sterling Silver and designed as a large ‘floral motif’ necklace with the large central section set with a large 9.5mm round Moonstone, to a surround of a further eight oval and round Moonstones, all securely set in strong Sterling Silver bezel settings.
Dropping below in articulated fashion is a further oval Moonstone which dances beautifully with movement.
Each Moonstone is stunningly clear and displays a lovely icy blue shimmering Schiller effect.
A handmade strong and solid oval belcher link chain suspends this strikingly beautiful Moonstone drop, and a typical of the era ‘Byzantine’ style easy to use hook and oval link clasp secure this one perfectly on the decolleté.
A substantial beauty, beautifully made and a pleasing 43cm neck circumference, this one ticks all the boxes!!

Very good to excellent antique condition. No thinning between links, strong and sturdy chain. No repairs. Moonstones are clear and exhibit a nice Schiller. Clasp origin and secure. No chips or significant abrasions to Moonstones, very very good condiment. All well set and secure. No issues to note.
