Quite possibly one of the prettiest, most feminine and shimmeringly pastel antique Art Nouveau pendant we’ve had the pleasure of offering.
Dating to the Art Nouveau era circa 1890-1910, a jewellery movement which exemplifies the naturalistic stylised fashion of the time, where plants, flowers, birds, organic motifs and the innovative use of materials was highly prized.
This charming piece is crafted from 9ct yellow gold and styled as a four leaf motif - perhaps a stylised clover - which has been exquisitely enamelled in iridescent pale shimmering greens, creams and pastel pinks. Surrounding the clover are a series of natural half seed Pearls to the open work gold frame, and, for a stunning pop of vibrant colour, a delicious pinky/red oval faceted claw set Ruby.
Its original sealed oval top jump ring is present and will accommodate a decent sized chain.

Very good antique condition. All Pearls original, no chips/breakage, with no re-glues, well set and secure. Ruby has a surface reaching inclusion and a chip, almost impossible to see with the naked eye, it is six claw set and secure, claws all original. Enamel is in fine condition, with no losses to speak of. No repairs or damage. Original oval sealed bale.
