Antique Art Deco Sterling Silver Cheroot Holder Case - 1915
Utterly charming Edwardian Sterling Silver ‘cheroot case’ fully hallmarked with UK hallmarks for manufacture in 1915.
Designed to hold the holder which would have held a cheroot in a time when we appreciated the finer things in life, perhaps today not as usable for its original purpose, but.. wouldn’t this particularly pretty floral lidded container make a gorgeous pendant/keepsake !
Floral engraving to front and back with a vacant cartouche to one side just waiting for your initials, opening to reveal a lovely gold/gilt washed interior, and retaining her original hallmarked top ring which would allow a good sized chain or clip her to your favourite long guard chain!
A functional accessory, a conversation starter, a tiny work of antique art who is longing to be worn and admired once again.
