This antique Australian 18ct yellow gold Opal and diamond ring is a piece of ageless charm, blending classic design with exquisite craftsmanship.
Styled in the much-loved three-stone tradition, it carries a sense of refinement and sophistication that never goes out of fashion.
At its centre sits a solid white Opal of approximately 0.80 carats, secured in a quality 10-claw setting—a hallmark of fine workmanship and durability. The Opal is truly captivating, alive with a kaleidoscope of shifting colours: flashes of blue, pink, green, yellow, and orange dance across its surface, creating a mesmerising play of light that changes with every movement.
On either side of the Opal, two sparkling round brilliant-cut diamonds provide the perfect complement, their crisp brilliance enhancing the Opal’s vibrant display of colour. The diamonds are set in Platinum, as are the shoulders, a detail characteristic of fine rings from this era. The Platinum then flows seamlessly into a half-round shank of rich 18ct yellow gold, giving the ring both strength and warmth.

Excellent antique condition. A very well made ring, of superior craftsmanship. Opal is 10 claw set, all claws are original and in excellent condition, no chips. Diamonds are lovely, no chips or abrasions, both are very good colour and clarity, well set and secure. No repairs. Beautiful!
