Step back into the elegant world of the Regency era with this stunning and all original Georgian ring — a true treasure from the early 19th century that continues to dazzle more than 200 years later.

Crafted from 12-carat yellow gold, this ring features a generous, emerald-cut cushion-shaped pink paste stone as its radiant centerpiece. In the Georgian era, fine gemstones were often prohibitively expensive, so master jewellers turned to “paste” — a high-quality, specially formulated lead glass — to create affordable yet breathtaking imitations of coveted gems like pink Topaz.

Foil-backed and expertly dome-set from beneath, this luminous pink paste captures a soft, glowing warmth with remarkable clarity and fire. Even after two centuries, the stone, and the foil backing, remains in outstanding condition, retaining its vibrant hue and brilliant sparkle.

Encircling the central stone is a halo of original natural half-seed pearls. Each pearl displays that desirable creamy-silvery antique patina that only time can bestow, adding a soft, romantic luminescence that perfectly complements the pink tones.

The design is quintessentially Georgian: graceful bifurcated shoulders flow into a refined concave motif before meeting a classic three-ribbed shank that feels wonderfully substantial yet comfortable on the finger.

Every element is completely original — this is no later conversion or alteration, but an authentic, untouched survivor from the 1800–1820s.
In remarkable condition for its considerable age, this ring is a delight to wear. It slips on with ease and carries the quiet confidence of a piece that has been cherished across generations.
