Quite the desirable collectible, this antique cheroot holder and associated case certainly makes an interesting pendant in todays jewellery climate.

Crafted during the Edwardian era, both the Sterling silver outer case and the enclosed Amber and 9ct gold cheroot holder are both hallmarked for manufacture in 1908.
Interestingly the Silver case bears hallmarks for assay in Birmingham, and the cheroot holder for London, and we assume would have been originally purchased separately.

The Sterling silver case bears an inscription - ‘B.T. 1. 1. 1910’ - a special gift for some lucky chap, perhaps a birthday?

Measuring a sizeable 7.5cm in length (inside the cheroot holder is 6cm), and retaining its original large top bale, this interesting talking point can be worn on your favourite chain or suspend from a bolt ring of dog clip if desired.
