One of, if not the finest, antique ‘bamboo’ bangles we’ve had the pleasure of offering.

This wonderful bangle dates to the Edwardian era - circa 1910-15 - and is crafted in heavy and substantial form - 28.8 grams - from 9ct yellow gold, as a rare to find ’triple’ bamboo bangle and measures an incredible width of almost 2cm wide on the wrist.  By the nature of the gold stamps, ‘9 and 375’, we believe this piece is almost certainly Australian in manufacture.

Designed as an oval hinged bangle with a hidden push in box clasp, and, not one but two figure eight safety clasps befitting such a fine antique bangle such as this.

In excellent antique condition with no dents/dings, splits or frankly any condition issues at all, this unusual and rare find looks impressive on the wrist and is an asset to any jewellery collection.

CONDITION
Excellent antique condition.  This bangle presents in almost pristine condition with no dents, impression nor splits to the fine gold work. A very heavy piece with no stamps indicating it is wax filled as many were, it may not be solid through and through but given the weight and lack of dents it is a very solidly made bangle.  The box clasp works effortlessly and is very secure, as are the two figure 8 safety clasps.  Absolutely no condition issues to note, superb!
