Antique Georgian 9ct Gold Garnet Drop Earrings Circa 1800-1820’s
A superb pair of Georgian closed baked Garnet earrings dating to the early 1800’s circa 1800-1820.
Designed as strikingly long drops which measure a face framing 4.2cm in length, and at their widest a lovely 1.2cm wide.
Suspended in articulated fashion from firm and strong shepherd hook fittings are the are series of round and pear shaped flat-cut rich and warm hued Garnets in traditional closed and foil-backed pinched gold settings.
Articulated in design, these enchanting earrings swish and sway beautifully with every movement.
In remarkable condition, all the Garnets are original, free from chips or damage, and the gold domed settings to the verso are ding free and almost as lovely as the front!
A must for the serious Georgian collector, these earrings are a perfect representation of Georgian elegance.

Very good to excellent antique condition. All Garnets are original, well set and secure, with no chips or damages. Backs are free from dents or damage, no repairs. Ear wires are original, strong and secure. Slight variation in hues of Garnets, this is natural and original, no obvious deterioration of foil backing. Gorgeous pair of Georgian earrings.
