This beautiful antique bracelet captures just the right touch of drama from its deep, glowing Garnets and was crafted in Austria between 1915 and 1930, and bears hallmarks for such. It’s a wonderful example of craftsmanship from a time when even everyday adornments were made with care and intention.
Crafted in 900 silver with a soft gilt wash typical of these quality pieces, it has that mellow golden tone so typical of the period — a finish that has aged gracefully and still looks utterly charming today.
The bracelet is composed of fourteen individual rosettes, and every rosette is set with rich, pomegranate-red Bohemian garnets, arranged in three-dimensional, tiered clusters that catch the light beautifully as the bracelet moves.
It fastens with a hidden push-in box clasp, cleverly disguised as yet another garnet rosette, and it still retains its original safety chain for added security — a thoughtful detail that speaks to its quality.
Weighing a very substantial 25 grams, this bracelet feels luxurious and reassuringly solid without being heavy. The articulated links allow it to drape fluidly, so it sits comfortably and moves gracefully with the wearer. It fits wrists up to 20 cm in circumference, making it both elegant and practical for modern wear.
There’s something wonderfully evocative about this piece — the rich garnets glowing like tiny embers against their golden setting, the craftsmanship that has endured for around a century, and the way it feels so effortlessly beautiful on the wrist.
These bracelets have always been collectable; the very best examples like this one almost never appear. When they do, they’re gone in a heartbeat.
