Antique Victorian 15ct Yellow Gold And Amethyst ‘Puffy’ Heart Pendant

Dating to the late Victorian era, this wonderful 15ct yellow gold pendant is centred with a large oval faceted Amethyst measuring 12mm x 8mm or approximately 3.5ct, which is bezel set with an utterly charming millgraine edging.
Designed as a puffy heart with detailed scrolled patterning to the surround of the Amethyst and a plain lightly polished verso.
Its two original jump rings are present, both very solid and strong, allowing this one to drop an eye catching 3cm from your favourite chain, or perhaps add her to a watch chain with two dog clips, the top bale is large enough to allow this!
Highly sought after, these Victorian pieces are superb, collectible and most of all beautiful.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition. No chips or abrasions to Amethyst, very secure in its setting. Both jump ring appear original, thick and strong. No dents, one incredibly shallow impression to rear, small and insignificant. Lovely Victorian heart.
