Laybys welcome! Contact Us today to secure your dream piece.

Large Sterling silver locket crafted during the Victorian aesthetic era circa 1880-1890.

The front panel is quite exquisite displaying a rose gold accented (we believe) Celtic ‘ringed’ cross to which inside is a floral garland in both etched and raised design with both rose and yellow gold accents.

The Celtic Cross features a traditional cross with a circle around the intersection of the arms and stem. Open to many interpretations, the Celtic Cross is said to be a representation of knowledge, strength and compassion to manage life's ups and downs.

Opening to reveal two large compartments, sadly the inner rims and panes have been lost to history, however in is still possible to pop a photo or two inside.

This is a large piece at 5.3cm x 4.0cm (not including top jump ring)  with a roomy 8mm jump ring which will accommodate many gauged chains, or pop this beauty on an antique Silver or gold long muff chain, the options are many!

CONDITION
Very good antique condition.  Front of locket is just lovely, no dings, gold accents bright and lovely.  Rear panel shows minor marks and a slight ‘dip’ but hardly noticeable!  Inner rims and panes are sadly missing, a photo or two could still be placed securely though.  Open and closes with a tight snap.
