Antique 9ct Rose Gold Operculum Drop Earrings - 1916
Each earring features a mesmerising operculum, a fascinating organic gemstone with a rich history rooted in the Victorian era. Known for its protective properties against the 'evil eye,' operculum was treasured for its mystical allure. Also referred to as 'cats eye' or 'shivas eye,' this gemstone captivates with its unique patterns and unusual colours.
The warm and enchanting hue of the 9ct rose gold setting beautifully complements the natural beauty of the operculum. The lever back fittings provide both security and comfort, ensuring that these earrings can be worn with ease and confidence.
With their vintage charm and timeless appeal, these operculum earrings are more than just accessories; they are a symbol of protection, grace, and sophistication. Whether worn for a special occasion or as an everyday indulgence, they are sure to turn heads and spark conversations.
