A stunning and superbly handcrafted Art Deco era ‘Daisy’ diamond halo Daisy ring dating to around 1935.
Crafted from Platinum and 18ct white gold - the shank is in Platinum, and the gallery in 18ct white gold - this stunning ring is centrally eight claw set with an early brilliant-cut diamond weighting approximately 0.40ct, colour G-H, and clarity SI, to the halo surround of a further eight diamonds with a total weight of a further approximately 0.60ct, which gives a total diamond weight of 1.00ct.
This ring is simply glorious.. the principal diamond is not only eight claw set for security - all the claws are solid, original and very present! - but it is set to a subtly scalloped setting which gives the almost imperceptible appearance of a Star when combined with the eight claws.. truly beautiful and a nod to the superior design of this ring.
The cluster measures a striking 1.1cm ‘round’, is low rise on the finger, 4.8mm, and a strong Platinum band will ensure this wonderful ring stands the test of time.
Diamond halo rings are classic, desirable and make perfect engagement rings… but who needs and excuse to wear, own and love a classic Daisy ring?!!
