Antique Georgian 15ct Yellow Gold Natural Half Five Pearl Half Hoop Ring Circa 1815-1825

A true survivor from a time gone by, this elegant and all original Georgian five Pearl half hoop ring is longing to be seen, worn and adored once again.
Crafted from rich 15ct yellow gold and set with five natural, and all original, half Pearls set in the traditional cut down pie-crust type settings with closed backs typical of the Georgian era. The Pearls are in excellent condition for their age, with no nacre loss, no re-glues and are stunning in their organic and individual shapes and chunkiness!
Sitting low and comfortable on the finger with simple tapered shoulders with just the right amount of detailing, and a typical double ‘split’ (grooved) shank also very typical of the era.
Perfect to wear alone but also looks simply stunning accompanied by your other antique bands for a unique stacking arrangement of your choosing.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. The Pearls are lovely, all original, no re-gluing and no nacre loss. Pearls are chunky irregular and beautiful. A very slight discrepancy or repair to the grooved lower shoulder section, no evidence of repair to the inside of the shank beneath this.. this could have been a ‘fault’ in the original manufacture, noting this for accuracy only! No other issues to note. A beautiful all original Georgian five Pearl ring.
