Fabulous Vintage 14ct Yellow Gold Tiger Eye ‘Buddha’ Pendant - 24 Grams

A large and commanding piece of jewellery depicting a revered deity, we believe a *Ksitigarbha, embodying both artistry and cultural significance.
“Kṣitigarbha is a Bodhisattva primarily revered in East Asian Buddhism and usually depicted as a Buddhist monk”. (Please feel free to correct us if this is wrong).
Finely crafted from 14ct yellow gold, the frame holding the Buddha is gently ornate and compliments the tactile and organic feel of the carved Tiger Eye Buddha it frames perfectly. Atop is a large pear-shape bale which measures approx 11mmm x 9mm and will accommodate many sized chains.
A finely carved large Tiger Eye plaque representing the Buddha gleams and shimmers in the light beautifully, and atop the Buddha is a tiny red faceted gem.
The verso is plain and shows the Tiger Eyes Chatoyant properties perfectly, this piece veritably shines and gleams in the sunlight!
A large piece of jewellery with a drop of over 6cm, strikingly attractive and draws compliments whenever it is worn.
