Antique Victorian 9ct Rose Gold Banded Agate Pendant/Brooch
A wonderfully large Victorian combination pendant brooch dating to the late Victorian era.
Crafted from 9ct rose gold which has been ‘bloomed’ to give a rich and warm golden hue.
Centred with a large 5cm x 3.8cm piece of banded Agate displaying peachy/russet, creamy white and pale lavender/grey banding throughout.
A rope twist border encircles for the full circumference, and, to the top a hinged bale which can be discreetly hidden when this versatile piece is worn as a brooch.
Original roll-over C clasp to the verso also.
Banded Agate is believed to have healing properties which stabilise and ground both the emotional and physical aspects, bringing calm and peace to the wearer.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition. No chips or abrasions to Agate. Original hinged bale, roll-over C clasp, and pin - pin is silver, firm and strong. Rope twist is lovely. No repairs or issues. Large beautiful piece.
