Antique Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold And Rose-Cut Diamond Ring - London 1894 Accompanied by a very old Sept 2000 Valuation for $1,100 AUD
We know you are out there.. because you keep asking for incredibly petite sized rings, and finally we one of the sweetest, antique rings in a tiny sized H or US size 3!
Crafted from 18ct yellow gold and designed in low rise signet ring style, and set to the oval top plate with size small rose-cut diamonds in the formation of a cross, to a closed setting at the rear.
Surrounding the oval top is a fine border of engraving, to tapering shoulders also engraved with a flour-de-lis motif, to a flat comfortable shank.
Petite and very elegant, this ring has been resized sometime in history resulting in the loss of some hallmarks, however the ‘Crown’ for 18ct gold and ’T’ date letter stamp for manufacture in London in 1894 can still be clearly seen.
Perfect for those with enviable petite fingers, however this one can be resized once again to approximately a size K / 5 1/4 with any competent jeweller.

CONDITION
Very good antique 130 year old condition. All diamonds original, no chips or damage and secure. Engraving to shoulder ever so slightly faded, still very visible, noting for accuracy only. A previous resize is noted, early and well done, sadly some hallmarks have been lost. A petite and very sweet antique ring.
