Introducing an exquisite piece of jewellery from the Edwardian era, this timeless treasure combines the elegance of bright and crisp 18ct white gold with the allure of Diamonds and a Pearl, creating a truly enchanting combination of sophistication and refinement.

Designed as an exceptionally long, 7.5cm, bar brooch centred with a large 7mm lustrous creamy white Pearl which is set to four points with a millgraine set ole European cut diamond weighing approximately 0.07ct each.
Extending across the beautifully engraved bar is a further ten single cut diamonds, and to each end point a further old European cut diamond of approximately 0.06ct.

To the verso we find an exquisitely crafted and unusual clasp in ’safety’ pin style with a hinged ‘U’ pin to secure (see photo, video), a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship of this piece, and ingenuity of the era.

A further attention to detail is the ‘hook pin’, which, once the brooch is pinned, slides into the clothing to prevent the brooch from dropping forward.

Excellent antique condition. Diamonds are bright, lively and beautiful. Pearl is creamy white, lustrous and securely set. Clasps is exceptional, they literally don’t make them like this any more, very secure, and associated hook pin to stop the brooch dropping forward is a wonderful added touch. Stunning piece of Edwardian jewellery.
