Gone are the days when we danced the night away by candle light when these beautiful Georgian earrings were hand crafted, by a jeweller, also working with only candle light to create precious jewellery almost 200 years ago … one can only imagine!

These enchanting earrings were created in the Georgian era circa 1800-1830 from traditional to the day silver and topped with lever backed fitting in approximately 12ct yellow gold.

Designed as flower head styled articulated drops with buttercup settings, diamond are set in cut down settings with closed and foil backed mounts.
The diamonds are mellow grey, warm with hints of colour and utterly romantic as intended.

Dancing beautifully as they were created to do given the articulation between the first and second diamonds, these antique treasures are a must for the Georgian jewellery connoisseurs jewellery wardrobe.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition.  Diamonds have no chips or abrasions.  Cut down settings are very intact, no repairs and diamonds are secure.  Lever backed fittings are strong, solid and open and close securely, no issues.  A superb pair of Georgian diamond earrings.
