A feminine and quite charming antique 9ct rose gold openwork Lavaliere and associated 9ct rose gold chain dating to the Edwardian era.

Set to the centre with a round faceted bezel set Garnet (or *Garnet topped doublet) inside an ornate framework set with a further four round faceted *Garnets and an array of natural half seed pearls, to an articulated *Garnet drop suspended below which moves sweetly when worn.

The Garnets are rich and vibrant, beautifully faceted and display a deep wine-red glow and shimmer and shine beautifully, and contrast vividly against the crisp white natural seed Pearls.

A trace chain and original push-in barrel clasp secure this sweet lavaliere safely around the neck.

In simply stunning condition and measuring a pleasing 39cm, this particularly pretty antique necklace looks divine on.
