An absolutely charming, early Australian ring by jewellery firm Joseph Lawrence Pty Ltd.

Crafted from 9ct rose gold and set with an elongated Onyx cabochon measuring approximately 2.2cm x 9.4mm, in a closed backed bezel low rise setting.
Tapered shoulders flow to a comfortable half round shank, and inside the shank we find the symbol used by the firm - a ‘Knot’, ‘9’ for 9ct gold and the Manufacturing Jeweller Association of Victorias guarantee mark of a ‘Wheatsheaf’.

Simplistic, refined in style, and classic black, this darling antique ring by one of our well known jewellery firms may be the prefect gift for those luck enough to have July as their birth month!

HISTORY OF JOSEPH LAWRENCE

Founded by Joseph Lawrence in 1884 in Swanston Street, Melbourne the firm was both a manufacturing jewellery and wholesale establishment.
